<p>Funeral services for Danny Wayne Palmer Jr., 53, of Grandfield, OK will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 19, 2021 at the First Baptist Church of Grandfield with Rev. Micky Miller officiating. Masonic Rite service will be held in his honor at the church. </p> <p>Interment will be at Grandfield Memorial Cemetery, Grandfield, OK. Services are under the direction of Gray Funeral home in Grandfield.</p> <p>Mr. Palmer passed away at home November 15, 2021 in Grandfield, OK.</p> <p>Visitation and viewing will be Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home. The family will be at the funeral home to greet friends and family from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.</p> <p>Danny was born March 7, 1968 in Vernon, Texas to Danny Wayne Palmer, Sr. and Janet (Prentice) Palmer. He grew up in Grandfield and graduated from Grandfield High School in 1986 and then attended Cameron University. You would often see Danny at Red River Casino where he enjoyed working for the past 17 years as a security guard. He was an avid sports fan. He loved his OSU Cowboys, Dallas Cowboys and the New York Yankees Danny was also a proud member of the Masonic Lodge 378, where he accomplished many goals he set forth in the Lodge. He also loved to fish and hunt. </p> <p>He is survived by his dad, Danny Wayne Palmer Sr. of Apache, OK; sons, Austin Wayne Palmer and wife Rylee of Mustang, OK, Trenton Moore Palmer of Grandfield, OK; brother, Ryan Palmer and wife Seberiana of Apache, OK; sisters, Jenifer Lynn Curry and husband Jaron of Grandfield, OK, Lora Pewo of Apache, OK, Janelle Archilta of Apache, OK, Sheila Archilta of Apache, OK, Diana Bucktrot of Apache, OK; nieces, Baylee and Kaylee Palmer of Apache, OK, Gabby McCracken and husband Bobby of Apache, OK, Shelby Archilta of Apache, OK; nephews, Jacob and Jason Flores of Apache, OK; 1 great-nephew and many cousins other loving family and friends.</p> <p>Mr. Palmer was preceded in death by his mom, Janet Palmer; step-mom, Beverly Palmer; grandparents, Horace Gene & Dortha Moore; Wayne Palmer, Melba Sells.</p>Obituary
