THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR AND ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF FRANCIS P. TORSIELLO Loved cars and horses EASLEY SC – Francis P. Torsiello, age 65 of Easley SC, formerly of Torrington CT, passed away on November 9, 2021, in Easley SC. Francis was born June 17, 1956, in Waterbury, the son of Michael Raymond Torsiello of Watertown (formerly Waterbury) and the late Madeline (Maisto) Torsiello. Francis was educated in local schools and was employed as an auto mechanic in the area for many years. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. As an accomplished mechanic, he was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed drag racing. He also had a love for horses and was very proud of his favorite horse, a Tennessee Walking Horse, named Scooby-Do. While a resident of Easley he was an active member of the Remnant Christian Church in Easley. Francis was very proud of his two daughters, and he will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him. Left to cherish his memory, besides his father are his two daughters; Melissa Powell and her husband Marcus of Watertown and Jessica Torsiello of Ansonia as well as his grandchildren; Angel, Tyson, Isaiah, Anthony, and Madison. He also leaves to cherish his memory his nieces; Tiffany Patchell, Stacey Lettiero, and Rebecca Torsiello and his nephew; Brian (Christina) Shaw. He was predeceased by his siblings; Raymond Torsiello, Cynthia Lettiero, and her husband Pasquale, as well as a nephew; Kyle Torsiello. Funeral Services for Mr. Torsiello will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1987 East Main St Waterbury, CT 06705. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in the family plot in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. We continue to remain concerned about the ongoing pandemic so masks will be required during all indoor services whether you are vaccinated or not.
