<p style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Mary&nbsp;Vuignier</strong></p> <p style="text-align: center;">(n&eacute;e Deacon)</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Peacefully, on November 15, 2021 at the St. Claude Pavilion, Mary Vuignier of Rathwell, Manitoba passed away at the age of 88 years.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">She leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters: Joan (Fernand) Allec and Diane Vuignier (Shawn Janssens); her four grandchildren: Joanne, Daniel, Hannah and Sarah. She also leaves to mourn her passing, a close friend, Liz Klotz; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">She is predeceased by her husband Marcel Vuignier, her son John Vuignier, her parents John and Mary Deacon, her siblings Bob (Bette) Deacon and Marg (Bob) Paxton, her parents-in-law Antoine and Edith Vuignier, sisters-in-law Florence Vuignier, Antoinette (Paul) Roch and brother-in-law Ren&eacute; Vuignier.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Mary grew up travelling and living across Manitoba as a daughter of a CP Rail employee. Mary went to business college and nursing college before settling on a career with CP Rail, replacing station managers around the province when they were on vacation.&nbsp;&nbsp; She met her husband, Marcel Vuignier, in Rathwell, Manitoba when she was working at the CP Rail station there.&nbsp; Mary married Marcel Vuignier in 1960, taking on a new of role of wife, mother, and farmer, to which she dedicated the remainder of her life.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">A Private Graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at the Notre-Dame Parish Cemetery.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the St. Claude Health District Foundation, Box 338 St. Claude, MB, R0G 1Z0.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Adam&rsquo;s Funeral Home of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba in care of arrangements.&nbsp; Phone 204-248-2201.&nbsp; To view the service details and leave condolences, please visit www.afh.ca</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p>
