THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF BRENDA SERRANO “Loved Music and Dancing” WATERBURY – Brenda B. Serrano, age 44 of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly at Yale New Haven Hospital on Friday, November 12th 2021. Brenda was born October 2nd 1977 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Wanda Colon and the late Felix Serrano. Brenda spent several years working as a Manager for Arby’s restaurant and had a love for music and dancing. She also enjoyed watching Novella’s cooking, baking and playing video games. What brought the greatest joy to Brenda was spending time with her family. Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory, besides her mother, Wanda are her children; Gerardo Cruz, Julio Cruz and Stephanie Cruz all of Waterbury as well as her two grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Serrano will be held on Thursday November 18th at 12:00 noon at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1987 East Main St Waterbury, CT 06705. Friends and family are invited to visit with Brenda’s family on Thursday morning from 11:00am until the time of the service at 12:00 noon at Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery Waterbury. We continue to remain concerned about the ongoing pandemic so masks will be required during all indoor services whether you are vaccinated or not.
