<p>Gaylene Mullins, of Durant, Oklahoma passed from this life on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the age of 75. She was born in Durant, Oklahoma on Wednesday, July 31, 1946 to Oral Perishing and Mildred Marie (Hale) Pruitt. </p><p><br></p><p>Gaylene was a longtime resident of Durant, Oklahoma. She had worked for the Durant Bank and Trust and spent many years at the Cherokee Telephone Company in Calera, Oklahoma. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.</p><p><br></p><p>She is preceded in death by her parents; Oral Perishing and Mildred Marie (Hale) Pruitt and a daughter Misty Hall on April 18, 2019.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her granddaughters Halee B. Grimes and husband Justin of Durant, Oklahoma, Makaylee Blair Hall of Durant, Oklahoma, Macee Lee Hall of Durant, Oklahoma; grandson Wade Lee Hall of Durant, Oklahoma; sisters Brenda Lilley of Colbert, Oklahoma, Phyllis Huskey and husband Jim of Calera, Oklahoma; brother Anthony Pruitt and wife Rachel of Dallas, Texas as well as other extended family and a host of friends.</p><p><br></p><p>A family hour will be held from 6:00-7:00PM, Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Gordon Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. </p><p><br></p><p>A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM, Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Gordon Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma with Bro. Rogers Spears officiating. A graveside service will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma. Chase Bryant, Layne Halbrooks and Ronnie Richardson will serve as pallbearers.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Gordon Funeral Home, 221 N. 3rd, Durant, Oklahoma.
