Kenneth Megehee, 93, while surrounded by his family, passed away peacefully at his residence in Hattiesburg on Saturday, November 13, 2021. A private graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Seminary Baptist Church Cemetery in Beaumont, MS. Kenneth was a founding member of Lincoln Road Baptist Church and served for many years as a Deacon. He retired after many years of service with Lampton Love as a Branch Manager. In his spare time, he loved to spend time working in his garden and doing yard work. Kenneth served his Country in the U. S. Army in the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Wanda Megehee, Sr. and two brothers, Jesse Megehee, Jr. and Terry Megehee. He is survived by his wife of sixty-eight years, Doris Megehee of Hattiesburg; a daughter, Renee Megehee of Hattiesburg; and a son, Freddy (Cindy) Megehee of Brandon. At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Lincoln Road Baptist Church, 3900 Lincoln Road, Hattiesburg, MS 39402.
