Shawn came into this world on January 2, 1975, to Donald Hanks and LeAnne Schnee (Plantz). Later in life our family gained a bonus dad Russ Schnee. He was blessed with four children, Haille, Katelyn, Ashlyn, and Zander, as well as two already made children, Anthony (Stephanie) and Ali (Todd). He left us on November 12, 2021. He had an awesome brother Shain (Angie) and amazing sisters, Beth (Mike), Brandi, Missy (Jon). Each of these people gave him nieces and nephews that he adored and loved to tease. Recently Amber came into his life and provided him great joy. He loved cooking, fishing, and spending time with family, almost in that order. He was a geek’s geek with an obsession for Star Wars, Harry Potter. Lord of the Rings and Star Trek. When not doing these things, he loved cheating at cards with anyone willing to play, but especially his girls, afterwards he would take them to dinner. Among those here missing him include Grandma Gwen, Uncle Mike, many other aunts. uncles and cousins. He will be fishing in Heaven with Grandpa Guy, Grandpa Dale, Grandma Dorothy, Aunt Sandy, Aunt Joyce, Cousin Cory and many more family and friends.
