<p>Funeral services for Mr. Luther “Marty” White will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory in Ball, Louisiana with Reverend Joey Rudisill officiating. Interment to follow at Springhill Cemetery, Pollock, Louisiana.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m until service time on Friday, November 19, 2021 at the funeral home.</p><p><br></p><p>Mr. Luther “Marty” White, age 87, entered eternal rest on Monday, November 8, 2021 in California.</p><p><br></p><p>Mr. White was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy White; his children, David Harrison, Jeff White, and Dottie Kerns; his parents, Eva McCan and Coy L. White; and his siblings, Leamon White, Charles Woodard, Billy White, Coy L. White Jr., Krider Ray McCan, and Cindy Henry. </p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his daughters, Sue White, Diann Burger, and Sharon LaDue; his 7 grandchildren; his siblings, Grady L. White, Roy Gene White, George White, Irma Shoemaker, Patricia Kleinpeter, Kathy Konrath, and James McCan; his numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Marty was a retired supervisor in the frozen food processing industry. An avid fisherman, he was a proud US Navy Veteran serving his country during the Korean War. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend.
