<p>William &ldquo;Bill&rdquo; Gorman Millette, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at his home surrounded by family.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Bill was born on January 17, 1926 in Greenville, MS to the late Ferman Jacques and Theresa Gorman Millette. Mr. Millette was a long-time resident of Pascagoula, MS and a community leader. He graduated from Greenville High School in 1944 and Spring Hill College in 1947 with a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration. He attended Georgetown University Law School, Washington, DC.; St. Louis University, Missouri; University of Mississippi, Oxford doing postgraduate studies. He then earned two brokerage licenses in Insurance and Real Estate, which he used in his business career. In 1963 he married Isabelle Jean Gardner at OLV Catholic Church in Pascagoula, MS. Mr. Millette was officer and owner of Millette and Associates Inc., Millette Enterprises Inc., Millette Realty, and Fabricators Inc. He was a member of MS Real Estate Association, MS Association of Insurance Agents, Past President of MS Coast Underwriters Association, Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, and Jackson County Urban Renewal Board.&nbsp; As a faithful and devout member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church since 1961 he served in many capacities; OLV Catholic High School Board of Directors, OLV Athletic Association member, and accepted an invitation by Bishop Joseph Howze to serve on Diocese Insurance Advisory Committee, Life time member Knights of Columbus, Elks Club, St. Vincent De Paul Society, Lions Club and many other community related organizations.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Mr. Millette is survived by his beloved wife of almost 58 years, Isabelle Gardner Millette of Pascagoula, MS; seven children, Mary Gorman Millette Kalifeh (Christopher J.), Mobile, AL; Bernard Krebs Millette (Cindy H.), Whitehouse, TX; Franklin Gardner Millette (Hsin Ching) of Houston, TX; Juliana Cerveaux Millette Jackson (T. J.) Donna Isabelle Millette Bryant (J. Mark)&nbsp; Mobile, AL; Catherine Billard Millette Myrick (John A.), Winston-Salem, NC; Joseph Gorman Millette (Jennifer B.), Pascagoula, MS; 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;A Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Pascagoula on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 11:00 am - 12 noon. &nbsp;A Memorial Mass will follow &nbsp;at 12:00 noon. Burial will conclude at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula, MS under the direction of O&rsquo;Bryant-O&rsquo;Keefe Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed online at www.obryantokeefe.com.</p>
