William "Bill" Goodlin

<p>William &quot;Bill&quot; Goodlin passed on November 7th at the age of 73. Born in Latrobe, PA in 1948, Bill moved to Golden, CO in 1965 and became a true Coloradan. He was an incredible mechanic and his passion for classic cars was always on full display at Golden car shows or on his mountain drives in his prized corvette. He treasured watching old westerns with his dogs in his lap and Wednesday morning breakfast with friends. Bill was a kind-hearted neighborhood handyman who was happy to apply his craft and expertise to any neighborhood project. His witty sense of humor will be missed by all those lucky enough to have known him.&nbsp;</p> <p>Bill was a loving father and the best Sunday evening dance partner a daughter could wish for. He was also a loving step-father whose craftsmanship and care helped him construct a warm home. He was the type of protective and caring big brother who taught the joy and importance of listening and was always there to pick you up when you fell.&nbsp;</p> <p>Bill is survived by his daughter Joy, Step-son William, brother Jeff, and longtime girlfriend Donna.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his wife Mary M. Goodlin, his mother Jessie Harris, father William Goodlin, and step-dad James W. Harris.</p> <p>A celebration of life will be held Sunday, November 21st at 12:00 pm at Swiss Cottage Gathering and events, 9840 W 44th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO, 80033</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
