Jeannine M. Michaud, age 88, of Ocean Springs, passed away on November 8, 2021 after a short illness.

Jeannine was born in Lewiston, Maine on December 14, 1932 and moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast in 1965 when her husband was transferred to Keesler Air Force Base.

She was a member of St. Alphonsus Church and was active in the Alter Society for many years. In her younger days, she was also a member of the Pink Ladies at Ocean Springs Hospital, assisting patients and visitors as needed.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Maurice Michaud; parents, Henry and Marie Chasse; five brothers and two sisters; her son, Gerry Michaud; and grandson, Chad Michaud.

She is survived by her sons Andy Michaud (Jennifer) and Michael Michaud (Debra), both of Ocean Springs; daughter, Fran Harris (Steve) of Worthington, OH; and daughter-in-law, Lauren Michaud of Mandeville, LA. She also leaves behind the joys of her life, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Private funeral services have already been held for the immediate family, as directed in Jeannine’s last wishes. If you wish, you may make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in her name.
