<p>Lamont Galen “Monty” Poole, 45, of Fredericksburg passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021. He was a valiant fighter in his battle with cancer.</p> <p>Monty was a hard worker, who loved The Dallas Cowboys and anything with cars from the drag strip to NASCAR. He was a GOD fearing man who loved his family and friends.</p> <p>He is survived by his wife, Susan Simmons; five beautiful daughters Clarissa Stanley (Matt), Ebony Simmons (Dwayne), Kayla Syrkes (Keane), Natalie Syrkes and Elaina Syrkes; four beautiful grandchildren Harper, Naomie, Dwayne, and Hudson; his parents, Helen and Galen Poole; his father-in-law, Robert Williams; several siblings; brother and sister-in-laws; nieces and nephews; and many beloved friends.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers or gifts we ask you to please make a donation to St. Judes…it is more blessed to give than to receive, and that’s exactly who Lamont was.. a giver..</p>Obituary
