John Joseph Cazzolla, Sr., a lifetime Yonkers resident, died peacefully on November 6, 2021. John was born on April 8, 1929, to John Joseph and Mary (Del Campo) Cazzolla. He was 92. For forty years John served as the Superintendent for Westchester County Parks and Recreation. After retirement he became an enrolled agent for H&R Block for another twenty-five years. On February 24, 1951, he married the love of his life, the former Barbara Zigray at St. John the Baptist Church. They were eventually communicants of St. Paul the Apostle Church. Beloved husband of the late Barbara and father of the late Joseph John. Devoted father of Jean (Ben) Borsellino, John (Sharon) Cazzolla and Thomas Cazzolla. Loving grandfather of Christopher (Amanda) Cazzolla, Adam (Alicia) Cazzolla, Joseph (Stefania) Borsellino, Matthew Borsellino, and Benjamin (Brenna) Borsellino, and great grandfather of Nieko Cazzolla. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 499 Yonkers Avenue, on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Funeral mass at Annunciation Church, 470 Westchester Avenue on Wednesday at 10 AM followed by internment at Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Mount St. Michael Academy preferred.April 8, 1929 - November 6, 202104/08/192911/06/2021
