William A. Becker
William A. Becker, 83, of Pottstown, PA, passed away on November 6, 2021, at Mifflin Center in Shillington, PA. He was the husband of the late Judith (Readman) Becker, who passed away in 2007. Born in Norristown, PA, on June 19, 1938, William was the son of the late Harry and Margaret (Strohm) Becker. William graduated from Boyertown High School in 1956 and then served in the United States Army Reserves. He worked as an auto parts manager for various companies for over 30 years. In his spare time, William enjoyed camping, attending car shows, horseback riding, and spending time with his family. William is lovingly remembered by his daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly (& Andy) Astheimer; and his brother-in-law, Scott Readman. In addition to his wife and parents, William is predeceased by his brother, Harry Becker Jr. A viewing will take place on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Houck & Gofus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place after the service at Highland Memorial Park, 701 Farmington Ave., Pottstown, PA 19464. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William’s memory to St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 927 N.
