Imogene Huffman

Imogene Huffman, 86, of Charleston went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 6, 2021 after fighting an illness.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jadie & Myrtle Foster; and brothers, Carlos, Dale, Herdon, and Harold Foster.

Imogene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member and played piano for Mile Fork Tabernacle. She was also a babysitter for many children, for over 35 years.

She is survived by her caring husband of 62 years, Charles Huffman; sons, Darrell (Bonnie) Huffman, Eddie (Soni) Huffman, and Rickie (Kim) Huffman; daughters, Debbie (Clarence) Hughart, Dreamia (Joe) Dye, and Lori (Robby) Dodd; brother, Russell (Barbara) Foster; sister, Bettie (Harold) Winkleman; eleven grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.

A service will begin, 1:00 pm Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Hafer Funeral Home, with Pastor Ray Belcher officiating. Burial will follow at Elk Hills Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm at the funeral home.
