<p>VILLE PLATTE – Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Thursday, November 11, 2021 for Joyceline Chapman Blood, 74, of Pine Prairie who passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021.</p> <p>Pastor Kevin West will conduct funeral services.</p> <p>Burial will be in the Griffin Hill Cemetery in Turkey Creek.</p> <p>Joyceline Chapman Blood was born July 30, 1947, in Ville Platte to Yourick Chapman and Emily Fontenot Chapman. She liked cooking big dinners for her family, whom she loved very much. She also enjoyed going to the mall in Alexandria and meeting new people. This great lady meant so much too many people, and she will be lovingly remembered by them.</p> <p>She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Clayton Ray Blood of Pine Prairie; daughter, Michelle Blood and husband, Billy Gordon of Pine Prairie; sons, Kevin Blood and Jamey Blood both of Pine Prairie; four grandchildren: Jacob and Emily Gordon, Hope Blood Bordelon, and Michael Blood; two great grandchildren, Isabella Blood and Caden Bordelon; and three sisters, Verna Webb of Texas, Deloris LeJeune of Chataignier, and Mary Guillory of Reddel.</p> <p>Joyceline is preceded in death by her parents, Yourick Chapman and Emily Fontenot Chapman; two brothers and seven sisters.</p> <p>At the request of the family, a visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Ardoin Funeral Home in Ville Platte beginning at 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM.
