Robert Eugene Landstoffer, 89, of Fort Wayne, IN died November 6, 2021 at Parkview Regional North Medical Center. Robert was born to the late Frank and Donna Landstoffer on April 22, 1932 in Yoder, IN. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church as well as the American Legion Post 499 and VFW-New Haven. Robert served proudly in the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He was an employee at both Lincoln National and Anthony Wayne Banks. Robert was the co-owner of Carl's Tavern in New Haven, Indiana. He enjoyed playing cards and games and vacationing in Hilton Head, South Carolina and Panama City Beach, Florida. Robert is survived by his wife of 65 years, Rita Landstoffer; daughter Julie (Gregory) Didier of Coldwater, MI; sons Timothy (Susan) Landstoffer and Stephen (Michele) Landstoffer both of Fort Wayne, IN; sister, Marilyn Ball; brother, James (Arlene) Landstoffer; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his son, Michael Landstoffer; sister, Joann Malfait; brothers: William, Larry, and Terry Landstoffer.   Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 13, 2021 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 2130 Pemberton Drive with calling one hour prior. Visitation will be held Friday, November 12, 2021 at 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm with a vigil at 4pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue in Fort Wayne, IN.  Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
