<p>Ronald White, age 81, of Worthington, died Saturday, November 6, 2021, at the Golden Horizons Assisted Living in Worthington. He&nbsp;was born April 3, 1940 in Worthington, MN to Fred and Amanda (Brinkhaus) White. He attended schools in Worthington graduating from there in 1958. After graduation, Ron joined the army serving 2 yrs. He then joined the navy and served 4 years. While on leave, he went with a friend to Missouri. There he met his future wife</p> <p>Marilyn. They were married January 13, 1962 in San Diego, CA where he was stationed in the navy.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp; After being discharged, they moved to Sioux Falls, SD where their oldest daughter, Lorrie, was born. They moved to Worthington in 1966 where their youngest daughter, Julie, was born.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp; He was employed with the US Postal Service for most of his adult life. First starting in Worthington before accepting the position of Postmaster in Round Lake, MN. He retired from there in 2001.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp; Ron was always busy with hobbies. He was into painting, taxidermy, chain saw carvings, wood carvings, building bird feeders and bird houses with the most recent being wood burning.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp; Ron is survived by two daughters, Lorrie White (Richard Gilgen) Little Rock, IA; and Julie (Brett) Jeppesen, Worthington MN; a grandson, Derek White; two granddaughters, Jessical Bramstedt and Alison Jeppesen; and six great-grandchildren.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp; He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Amanda; four brothers, William, Robert, Kenneth and Jerry White; his wife, Marilyn; and grandson, Matthew Warborg.</p> <p>.&nbsp; &nbsp;A time of fellowship will be from 5-7pm Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington. Burial will be at Green Cemetery in Camden County Missouri to be by his wife Marilyn.</p>
