With fond and loving memories, we announce the passing of a dear wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, Mary Joseph Newman, who passed peacefully away on November 6, 2021, at the age of 85. Leaving to mourn, her only daughter, Barbara Griffin, grandsons, Norbert (Tammy) and Keith (Denise). Great grandchildren, Alyshah (Chad), Brady (Emma), Ethan and Jaden. Great great granddaughter, Reya. Predeceased by her husband, Michael Newman and son in law, Norbert Griffin. We take great comfort in knowing that she lived a long and happy life, and we are all blessed to have had her in our lives. Visitation to take place at Coombs Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 9th from 2:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass to take place at St. Theresa’s Church, Ship Harbour, Wednesday, November 10th at 2:00 pm.
