<p>Stanley Borden, 74 died Friday, October 29, 2021, at the Capstone Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, in Amsterdam, NY. He was born in Cohoes, NY on May 28, 1947.</p> <p>He was the son of the late Raymond and Rose (Beauchamp) Borden. He graduated from the Shenendehowa High School in 1965.</p> <p>A lifetime area resident he worked as an engineer for the Water Department in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.</p> <p>Stanley was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Clifton Park, NY.</p> <p>He was predeceased by his parents along with his sister Joan.</p> <p>Stanley is survived by his wife Lela (Pink) Borden, a daughter Rosanna M. Borden, a son Shaun R. Borden, a stepson Thomas Moran (Michelle), and a brother Leonard Borden (Nancy).</p> <p>The Bekkering-Ellis Funeral Home at 1 Mohawk Avenue, Scotia, NY, will be open at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, for those who wish to call.</p> <p>A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. </p>Obituary
