Timothy Scott Earl Obituary

Timothy Scott Earl joined his father and grandparents in the afterlife October 27, 2021.  Tim passed suddenly in his home in Basin, Wyoming. Tim was born August 1, 1967 in King City, California, the oldest of three children born to Leslie G. Earl and Jerri J. Robb. He had one younger sister, Sheila and a younger brother, Curt. Tim moved to Osakis, Minnesota as a young child where he was raised by his grandparents on the family farm. Tim graduated from Osakis High School. After graduation, Tim enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He served six years in the Corps, with extreme participation in Desert Storm. After leaving the Corps, Tim returned to Osakis before moving to South Dakota and finally settling down roots in Basin, Wyoming. After moving back home to the family farm, he began his career as a truck driver. It was not uncommon for Tim to travel with his road companion, which was his cat at the time. Tim loved cats, and even though he never had any human kids, he had a lot of cats throughout his life. They often went on the road with him. For a short period of time, Tim left the trucking world to join his father and brother in the tough world of roughnecking. His time there was short lived before returning to the highway. The last company he rode for was "Lost Horse Trucking" out of Powell. His bosses were his road family.  Tim never married during his life, although he loved his immediate family and helped them out whenever he was able. He had the generous, kind heart of a giant child. He collected all kinds of things like gaming systems, anime, and mind-challenging puzzles. Tim enjoyed showing off his cool toys to his nieces and nephews. Tim was also a strong believer in his Second Amendment rights. Tim was a proud Marine and was ready at a moment’s notice if something hit the fan. He was a survivalist, big reader and collector of the finer things from the weapon’s world.  Tim joined his father, grandparents, cousin and great-niece and original road companion Fuzy up in the Big Sky. Tim left behind his sister, Sheila and her children and his brother, Curt, sister-in-law, Nikki and their children.  "He parked his truck now His engine has stopped, And those who loved him Their hearts have dropped. He traveled the country  With a smile of great pride Now he drives the streets of Heaven  On the trucker’s last ride." Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Greybull, Wyoming. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Marine Corps and the American Legion Posts 32 and 29. Patriot Guard Riders will be in attendance to show their honor and respect. Memorial donations may be made to the Wyoming Cowboy Challenge Academy and sent to P.O. Box 524 Worland, Wyoming 82401. Online condolences may be made at www.bryantfuneralhomeonline.com.
