July 16th, 1948 – October 30th, 2021

Our beloved Milton Ray Booty aged 73, born in Tylertown, Mississippi and a long time resident of Zachary LA, departed this life and went to his forever home on Saturday, October 30th, 2021. He was surrounded by his loving son, Jason, granddaughter Madison and long time friend Shad Davis. Milton was a long time employee of Dixie Pipeline, and a respected local business man. He was a Sergeant in the United States Army, served honorably in Vietnam, and was also a Mason and a Shriner. He leaves behind to cherish his memories a son, Jason Lance Booty and his wife Amanda, as well as a sister, Marilyn Bean, her husband Edsel Bean,a daughter in law, Christina Booty, and grandchildren Madison Booty, Nathen Booty, Jackson Booty, Caleb Booty, Hannah Booty, ex-wife and friend for 57 years Sarah Faith Martin . He was preceded in death by his parents Milton George Booty,Jessie Merle Booty, as well as his sister Evelyn Booty Mixon, and his wife Brenda Henderson Booty. There will be a wake at Charlet Funeral Home, 4230 High Street, Zachary, LA 70791, on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 7PM, and on Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021 there will be visitation from 11AM-12PM, and then service from 12PM-1PM, also at Charlet Funeral Home. A private family burial will be held at LA National Cemetery, Zachary. Milton was a bright and shining light in this world, and will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him. He dearly loved his family, enjoyed spending quality time with them, as well as playing cards, drinking coffee, was an avid reader of anything western, and made sure to watch Jeopardy each day at 4:30.
