<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;JUDITH ANN WIENEKE, age 81, of Lismore, died Sunday, October 31, 2021, at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. She was born September 8, 1940, in Worthington, to Elmer and Sue (Honermann) Kuhl. She graduated from Worthington High School in 1959. Judy worked at the Crippled Children&rsquo;s School in Worthington. She moved to the Twin Cities in 1962, where she worked at the University of Minnesota Hospital in the Mental Health Ward. Judy later moved back to southwestern Minnesota and began working at the Adrian Hospital where she met her future husband, Elmer.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp;Judy married Elmer Wieneke on September 7, 1963, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Worthington. After their marriage, the couple lived in Lismore. She worked at the DAC; and SWMH at Unity House in Worthington.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp;She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Lismore; the WCCW; and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting, camping, reading, looking up recipes and watching baseball.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp;Judy is survived by her husband, Elmer Wieneke, Lismore; six children, Paul (Joan) Wieneke, New Ulm; Steven (Laurie) Wieneke, Lismore; Amy (Darnell) Christians, Spirit Lake, IA; Apryl (Thomas) Meier, Worthington; Jay Wieneke, Quincy, IL; and Peter (Traci) Wieneke, Jackson; twelve grandchildren, Lucas, Elisabeth, Anthony, Carmen, Katie, Meagan, Seth, Rachel, Derek, Travis, Darin and Selena; seven great-grandchildren, with two more on the way; four siblings, Jan (Roy) Redenius, Cottage Grove; Dave Kuhl, Fairmont; Ken (Cathy) Kuhl, Soupier, MT; and Mark (Kathy) Kuhl, Sartell; and a sister-in-law, Judy Kuhl, Ridgefield, WA.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp;She was preceded in death by her parents; three grandchildren, Nathan, Marissa and Savannah Wieneke; two brothers, Gerry and Jim Kuhl; and a sister-in-law, Su Kuhl.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp; Visitation will be Thursday from 4:30 to 7 pm, with Parish Prayers at 4:30 pm, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Lismore. Visitation also one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am Friday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, in Lismore, officiated by Monsignor Richard Colletti.    JUDITH ANN WIENEKE, age 81, of Lismore, died Sunday, October 31, 2021, at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. She was born September 8, 1940, in Worthington, to Elmer and Sue (Honermann) Kuhl. She graduated from Worthington High School in 1959. Judy worked at the Crippled Children’s School in Worthington.
