Barbara Ann Wood

Barbara was born on November 26, 1938 in Pasadena California to the late John and Margaret Service. She attended The University of Pasadena City College, where she received an accounting degree. She later met the love of her life, Thomas Wood, and married him on June 28, 1958. They had 4 children; Donna, Cindy, Tammy, and Brett.

In 1972 they moved to Palisade CO. where Barbara dedicated many years as a librarian at Palisade High School. She also volunteered at Clifton Christian Church, and Crime Stoppers. Most importantly she dedicated her life to being the most amazing mother and grandmother. Barbara is survived by 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren as well as many friends that loved her dearly. Barbara lit up every room she was in. She was a hard worker, outgoing, adventurous, and a gentle hearted woman. She will be greatly missed.
