John Bradley Creel

JOHN BRADLEY CREEL John (Jack) Bradley Cutsail Creel, age 95, passed away on October 24, 2021 at home in Silver Spring, MD. He was born in Washington, DC, the fourth child of Merle L Cutsail and Anna (Bradley) Cutsail Creel. He was predeceased by his father, mother and adoptive father Robert T Creel, siblings, Merle L Cutsail who passed as an infant, Merle (Bud) Louis Cutsail Creel and Dorothy (Dee) Delores Cutsail Creel Carroll. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Sylvia (Broadhurst) Creel, son, John B Creel, Jr (Debra) and daughter Therese I Creel (George Levis), four grandchildren, Carolyn Creel (Pete Tzamaras), Gina Creel, Melissa Roque (Anthony) and Sara Brickman (Natalie Castillo Mueller), and two great grandchildren Mason and Madison Roque. Jack served in US 5th Army in Italy during WW2 and was a member of several automotive associations in the DC area. After the war, he worked at Creel Brothers in Washington, DC until his adoptive father’s retirement. In 1970, he started his own auto parts store, Creel Automotive, Inc. in Rockville Maryland which he operated until his retirement in 1982. Friends and family are invited to join the family at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 70 University Blvd E, Silver Spring, MD on Wednesday, November 3rd, beginning with a visitation at 10:15am. Latin Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Montgomery Hospice at montgomeryhospice.org.
