Heather Anne Frandsen Obituary

Heather Anne Frandsen, 51, passed away Monday, October 25, 2021 peacefully with her family at her side. She was a native of Visalia, CA and a resident of Madera for 20 years.
Heather worked for the Madera County Office of Education as a teacher for the mentally disturbed for five years.

She was a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints attending the Madera 2nd Ward. She has served in various positions over the years including a Councilor in the Relief Society, the world’s oldest and longest running Women’s Organization.

Heather was happy to be an outspoken advocate to help others. She was the past Worthy Matron of the Concordia Chapter of the Easter Star in Clovis as well as the Outreach Coordinator with the Thalassemia Clinic of UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital.

She is preceded by her father Bruce Sanborn.

Heather is survived by her husband of 25 years, Bruce Frandsen of Madera, as well as her parents Robert and Kathi Brant of Madera and Debbie Sanborn of Reedley, CA. She leaves behind her children, Bryant Poe and his wife Amanda of Opelika, AL, Katelyn Frandsen of Rexburg, ID, Jacob, An Ni, Meghan, Melissa and Charles all of Madera. Her siblings also mourn her passing, Roger Sanborn of Visalia, CA Bethany Rivas and her husband Anthony of Fowler, CA Alexander Sanborn and his wife Lauren of Fresno, CA, Luke Sanborn and his wife Nycole of Clovis, CA and Yuka Akura of Japan.

Memorial services will be 11 am, Saturday, October 30, 2021 at The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 2112 Sunset Ave., Madera, CA 93637.

A private family Graveside service will be held later.
