A Legacy – A Special Woman Life Reflections Obituary To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven: Ecclesiastes 3:1 A Time to be Born Margaret Ann Emmons Bruton was born on May 01, 1934 in Bainbridge, GA, to Willie Joe Emmons and Grace Delores Hicks Emmons, she was the oldest of 2 children including Doris, Dorothy and Patty. A Time to Learn She attended Hutto High School where she received her diploma from the Decatur County School system in 1951. A Time to Serve She accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Nelson Chapel AME Church and she served faithfully until health failed. A Time to Mourn On Tuesday October 26, 2021, our Heavenly Father called Margaret to rest. She was preceded in death by her parents: Willie and Grace Delores Emmons; One sister: Doris Jean Washington. Time to Love Margaret leaves to cherish her memories six loving and devoted children: Grace Delores (Taraent) Bouie, Cleveland Benard (Glenda) Bruton, Peter James Bruton Sr., Marion Beatrice (Charles) McGriff, Mary Jacquelyn Harris and Kevin Eugene (Robin) Bruton Sr. all of Bainbridge, GA; Two God Daughters: Delores Crawford and Patricia Coleman; Host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren; Two sisters: Dorothy Moore and Patty of Tallahassee, FL; Devoted cousins: Dr. James Henry and Gertrude Hicks of Huntsville, AL; A dear friend: Charlie Mae Phillips; Host of loving cousins and family and friends.
