Keith Harold Capman

Keith (Cappy) Capman Sr. Keith was born December 29, 1958, to Theodore (Ted/Cappy) Capman and Evelyn Capman (Potter) and went to be with the Lord on October 24, 2021, at 62 years of age surrounded by his wife, sons, brother, and sisters. He married the love of his life, Sherry on November 29, 1980. He had three sons, one daughter, and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Violet, his daughter Christi’, his mother, and his father. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, his sons, Ted Capman II (Khrystalynne), Keith Capman Jr. (Chelsea), and Jared Capman (Lena Harrison), his grandchildren, his brother, Jim Capman (Donna), sisters, Marie Wicks, Kathryn Rodriguez, and Christine Capman, many nieces, nephews, cousins and one aunt. Keith enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, his beloved dog Sadie, riding his Harley Davidson, and watching TV. Keith loved his family dearly and was a loyal friend. He was very proud of his children and his grandchildren brought him the greatest joy. Keith instilled in his sons a strong work ethic and a deep loyalty to family and friends. Keith did his best to present himself with a rough and tough persona, but those close to him knew the real reason he wore dark sunglasses when his sons went off to college and when his kids and grandkids from out of state would leave to go home. No matter how tough he wanted everyone to think he was, he did have a tender, compassionate, and loving side. Keith’s family wishes to express their sincerest appreciation for all those who have expressed their love, support, and condolences as well as for the prayers that have been offered by so many. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 11:00 am at Life in Christ Ministries, 14990 Beadle Lake Rd., Battle Creek, MI 49014. Reverend Ted Capman II officiating.
