Claire S. Hall
Claire S. Hall of Edgewater, MD died on Monday, October 25, 2021 at her home. Born in Mt. Vernon, OH in 1926 to the late Rev. and Mrs. W.W. Stewart, Claire and her family moved to Texas in 1937 where she was raised and educated at Edinburg College and the University of Texas. Claire moved to Edgewater, MD following her marriage to Dr. Harvey N. Hall. She and her husband taught in the Anne Arundel County school system in the 1950’s and early 60’s. They moved to the Eastern Shore in 1962 following Dr. Hall’s appointment as Supervisor of Instruction for the Worcester County Schools in Snow Hill, MD. They later moved to Salisbury when he joined the faculty at Salisbury State College. While on the Shore, Claire was active in church and community affairs. They returned to the family property in Edgewater in 1973. In retirement, they both pursued a long time interest in landscape gardening. Claire was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Harvey N. Hall in 2013 and her son, Donald S. Hall, also an Anne Arundel teacher, in 2004. Funeral service and interment will be private. Condolences may be made by using the tab on this page.Obituary
