Margaret Louise Aldridge

Margaret Louise Aldridge of Rogersville, MO passed away on October 25, 2021 at the age of 71. Margaret was born in 1950 in Springfield, MO to Mary Catherine (Carr) Grace and Lawrence Joseph Grace. Margaret was a student of Springfield’s Saint Agnes Catholic Schools and in 1966 married Roger Mark Aldridge—together they relocated briefly to Wichita, KS where Mark was employed with Boeing Air, and in 1967 their daughter, Johnelle Louise, was born. Upon returning to Springfield, Margaret began her employment with Consumers Markets where she worked for over thirty years and made many valued friendships. Eventually, Margaret joined Mark in his family’s business, Markley Hardware, where they continued their employment until she and Mark eventually purchased the business and operated it until their retirement. Margaret is preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend Roger Mark Aldridge; her parents, Lawrence Joseph Grace and Mary Catherine (Carr) Grace, formerly of Springfield, MO; two sisters, Patty and Teresa Grace, both of Texas; and her brother, Matt Grace, formerly of Springfield, MO. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Johnelle Louise (Aldridge) Ethridge and James Todd Ethridge of Rogersville, MO; grandchildren Haley Grace Ethridge of Springfield, MO, Emma Louise Ethridge and James Tucker Ethridge, of Rogersville, MO and Chloe Marie (Ethridge) Shepherd and husband Ronald Bruce Shepherd, II of Fort Worth, TX. Also surviving, one sister Suzie (Grace) Cate (and husband, Bobby); several much-loved nieces and nephews. The family has elected to commemorate Margaret’s life and passing privately, thereby scheduling no formal services. Those wishing to honor Margaret’s memory are encouraged to make a memorial contribution to the Alzheimer’s Association. Additionally, the family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Cedarhurst Senior Living and Seasons Hospice for the compassionate care they gave Margaret during her final months and weeks.
