<p>Carl Andrew Lisac, age 69 of St. Louis, Missouri, died on Friday, October 9, 2021 at Mercy South Medical Center in South St. Louis, County.</p><p><br></p><p>Carl was born in Wood River, Illinois and lived in Granite City, IL with his parents, Andrew and Rose Lisac, and his two Sisters, Carol Ann Carter and Andrea Lisac, all of whom preceded him in death. </p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his Sister Carol Ann’s Partner C. Dean Brown, of Granite City, IL. Carl had two Nephews, Kevin Carter and Todd Carter, a Niece, Jessica Lynn Brown, and a Great Niece, Emily Carter, and a Great Nephew, Wyatt Brown. He had beloved Cousins in Missouri and Illinois and many friends and coworkers all of whom are heartbroken and will miss him greatly. </p><p><br></p><p>Carl moved to St. Louis, Missouri after his divorce in 1974 where he remained until his death. He was a proud and dedicated employee of the U.S. Postal Service for 33 years where a majority of those years were spent as an Accountant in the Accounting Service Center until he retired. Carl loved getting together with family and friends and held those he loved very close to his heart. Carl loved to meet for breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks, he loved to travel and especially enjoyed attending concerts and shows at the Fox Theater. Carl was a 16-year cancer survivor. And Carl loved Christmas. His Christmas trees were nothing short of spectacular. He had a particular fondness for all things Santa Claus and Snowmen. As anyone who knew him could tell you, no one could decorate a house at Christmas like Carl. He was larger than life and had the biggest heart. He loved to laugh and loved to make others laugh, as well.</p><p><br></p><p>Carl’s cremated remains will be interred with his Sisters and a small memorial service will be held in the Chapel at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Edwardsville, Illinois on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. </p><p>In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to Stand Up To Cancer.</p><p><br></p>
