Marilyn Marriott (Spiers) Brower

<p>Marilyn Marriott (Spiers) Brower passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at the age of 87. Marilyn was born May 8, 1934, in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, the youngest of three children. In 1956, Marilyn married Keith Brower, and while stationed with the Navy, in Hawaii, their daughter, Sherry, was born. They promptly moved to Pocatello and then Idaho Falls, Idaho, where she remained for the rest of her life. She worked for the U.S. Department of Energy and worked her way up from secretary to Department Manager.</p> <p>She will be greatly missed by Sherry, son-in-law Ken, her two grandchildren, Alan and Laura, and all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband Keith, parents Donald and Wanda Spiers, and two sisters. She also has two surviving nieces, Lori Randall and Cindy Lowney.</p> <p>Marilyn had many interests including astronomy, reading, music, and gardening, but Sherry, her only surviving child, was the highlight and focus of her life. Marilyn enjoyed traveling to Africa, Europe, and many national parks in the USA and Canada. She was a very well organized person, maintained an immaculate household, and was a life-long student of grammar. She also had a keen love of cats and had them for over 50 years. She was a bright, beautiful and loving soul who cared deeply about others and brought life to everything she touched.</p>

Marilyn Marriott (Spiers) Brower passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at the age of 87. Marilyn was born May 8, 1934, in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, the youngest of three children.
