Robert E. “Bob” Loor, 90, a resident of Annapolis, MD died peacefully on Sunday, October 24 at his home. Born on March 18, 1931 in Washington, DC to the late Jesse James and Ida Mae Loor, Bob was a graduate of Bladensburg High School. He served in the Army National Guard for twenty years and worked at PEPCO in various positions for thirty-eight years. Bob volunteered at the Project Liberty Ship- S.S. John W. Brown in Baltimore, the Maryland Therapeutic Horse Farm,The T.M. O’Donnell Company, Inc. and was a member of the Moose Lodge. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Kathleen A. Loor; his siblings, James and Richard Loor, Lewis Burkhardt, Barbara Jean Prebish and Mary Elizabeth DuVall. He is survived by his children, Robert “Tim” (Sandra) Loor of Crofton, MD, Linda Muck of Bowie, MD, Wanda Paris of Jessup, MD and Brenda (Jerry) Fuentes of Frankford, DE; his grandchildren, Shawn Paris, Christine Wetzel, Sheri Paris, Eric and Jason Fuentes, John Muck, Brian Fuentes, and Thad and William Loor; and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to celebrate Bob's life on Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD where his funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 28 at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Project Liberty Ship, Inc., P.O.
