Roger Carl Anvik, 74, of Beulah, ND went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Marion Manor, Glen Ullin, ND. Services will be held at 11:00 AM CDT on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at New Life Worship Center with Pastor Ed Langeliers officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 PM at North Dakota Veteran’s Cemetery, Mandan, ND.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM CDT on Wednesday, October 27 at Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah.

Roger was born on September 17, 1947 to Otto and Sylvia (Olsen) Anvik. He served in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1974 and fought in the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1970. Following his time in the service, Roger worked as a mechanic at DGC and as a millwright for many years, retiring at age 64.

Roger was married to Carrie Kruckenberg from 1975 to 1985 and the couple had two children, Billy and Cory. He married Judy Carol Pilgreen in 1986 and was happily married for 20 years.

Roger was an adventurer at heart. He loved the outdoors and when he wasn’t traveling or working, he could be found fishing or tinkering on a project in his garage. Roger loved people. He would speak to any stranger and was known for talking people’s ears off.

Rogers is survived by his children, Billy (Crystal) Anvik, Cory Anvik, Nicci (Ryan) Brelje and Desiree Johnson; daughter-in-law, Jamie Scott; numerous grandchildren; his brothers, Dan (Karen) Anvik and Doug (Laura) Anvik; his sister-in-law, Sandy Anvik; and several nieces and nephews, whom he loved deeply.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Judy; his son, Tony Scott; and his brothers, Jim Anvik and Norman (LaVelle) Anvik.
