Lola Box

Lola Box, age 94 of Abilene, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11am, Tuesday, October 26th at Hamby Cemetery. Interment will follow under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Lola Vee Allbritton was born September 16, 1927 in Wauchula, Florida to Emery A. Allbritton and Mamie C. Cox Allbritton. Lola married James Hersley Box on July 19, 1947 in Hillsboro, Florida. Mrs. Box was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one son, Michael Emery Box. Mrs. Box is survived by her one son, Jimmy Dale Box; three grandchildren, Danny Ray Box and wife Tami, Angie Hill and husband Robert, Wayne Box; nine great grandchildren, Nolyn Box, Dylan Box, Hayden Hill and wife Deidre, Baillie Travis and husband Tucker, Keegan Hill, Chase Hill, Colton Box, Aspen Box and Jeracho Box; three great great grandchildren, Haisley Hill, Hadley Hill, Addisyn Hill and Hannah Hill; sister-in-law, Darlene Gossett and numerous nieces and nephews.
