Ardella Korsmo
A family graveside service for Ardella Korsmo, 96, of Canby, formerly of Plymouth, will be held at a later date at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Bloomington, MN. Ardella Mae Korsmo was born on March 20, 1925, in Minneapolis, MN. She grew up and graduated from high school in the Twin Cities. Ardella worked as a server in the cities and later, with her son Rusty at Rusty’s Café in Taunton. Ardella enjoyed wintering in Sun City, Arizona. She was very social and enjoyed visiting with friends and family, listening to music and playing cards. Ardella died on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at the Sanford Health Sylvan Court in Canby, MN. She is survived by her children Laura (and Tom) Hargreaves of Buffalo, John III (and Cathy) Rhymer of Canby, Diana (and Jerry) Anderson of Andover, Rusty Rhymer of Taunton, step-son Chuck (and Pat) Korsmo of Minneapolis, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands Oscar “Bud” Korsmo and John Rhymer Jr., step-daughters Mary Sherman, Cathleen Seeland and daughter-in-law Paula Rhymer.Obituary
