John Max Copeland, III

John Max Copeland, III age 46 of Marianna passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021, in Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, FL. He was born in Fairmont, West Virginia on February 23, 1975, to the late John Max Copeland II and Quadroue Lee Nicklow Copeland. John was a resident of Lake Wales, Florida for many years, before moving to Jackson County in 2005. In his younger days, John was a member of FFA and had a passion for agriculture. He was a very skilled mechanic and enjoyed working on his pickup truck. In his spare time, he liked to go fishing. John’s greatest love was his grandchildren whom he adored. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Jackie Stokes; two brothers-in-law, Robert Hayhurst and John Sinclair. John is survived by his two daughters, Jessica Welch and Jenna Welch; one brother, Chuckie Bennett; two sisters, Joan Sinclair and Debbie Hayhurst; grandchildren, Emilee Branch and Meaghan Higgins; one niece, Vicki Pfister and one nephew, Keith Church. He is also survived by his special canine companion, Disco and best friend, Jason Walker. Memorialization will be by cremation. All arrangements are entrusted to the caring staff of McAlpin Funeral Home in Sneads, Florida.
