Kathryn C. Osowski

Kathryn C. Osowski, age 76, of Howard City, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, October 21, 2021. Kathryn was born on August 13, 1945 in Fullerton, California, the daughter of Louis and Helen (Sumpter) Chauvin. Kathryn worked as a technician for AT&T for many years. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Coral where she served as a deaconess. Kathryn had a joyful assurance that upon her death she would be present with the Lord, and it was her fervent prayer that her loved ones and descendants for generations to follow would also come to a knowledge of the Creator and receive His free offer of eternal life in Jesus Kathryn is survived by her son, Michael (Lisa) Stiltz; her daughter-in-law, Brooke Abbott; her stepson, Corey (Sara) Osowski; her grandchildren, Lucas, Amanda, William, Jayce and Evyn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter James “Jim” Osowski in 2014 and her stepdaughter, Heather Osowski in 2020; and her two siblings. Funeral and committal services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 16028 Isabella Rd, Coral, MI 49322. Her pastor and friend Chris Kaufield will be officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Burial will take place in Reynolds Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Emmanuel Baptist Church in Kathryn’s honor.
