<p>Rosemari Petersen, 83, of La Porte, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Miller Health and Rehab.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp;<br /> Rosemari was born on May 29, 1938 to Earl and Lucille (Meeks) Bowles.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>She married Lawrence Robert Petersen who preceded her in death.&nbsp; Surviving are her son, Don Petersen of Lafayette and two grandsons, Gavin and Colton Petersen.</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Joseph Lawrence Petersen.</p> <p>Rosemari worked for NIPSCO as a meter clerk for 25 years.&nbsp; She enjoyed painting with water colors and watching the Cubs.&nbsp; Rosemari was the former president of The Michigan City Art League.&nbsp; She especially loved her grandkids.</p> <p>Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.</p> <p>A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.</p> <p>A time of visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Memorial contributions may be directed to The Michigan City Art League, PO Box 9720, Michigan City, IN&nbsp; 46360.</p> <p>Condolences may be shared with the family online at www.cutlercares.com.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Obituary

Rosemari Petersen, 83, of La Porte, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Miller Health and Rehab.  
   
Rosemari was born on May 29, 1938 to Earl and Lucille (Meeks) Bowles.  

She married Lawrence Robert Petersen who preceded her in death.  Surviving are her son, Don Petersen of Lafayette and two grandsons, Gavin and Colton Petersen.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Joseph Lawrence Petersen.

Rosemari worked for NIPSCO as a meter clerk for 25 years.  She enjoyed painting with water colors and watching the Cubs.  Rosemari was the former president of The Michigan City Art League.  She especially loved her grandkids.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
