Patricia Marie Rowan
<p>Patricia Marie Rowan (Pat) reached the end of her wonderful life October 21, 2021, at the age of 80.</p> <p>Born in Newark, NJ on May 12, 1941, Pat spent her childhood years both in Ohio and New Jersey. After graduation from Point Pleasant Beach High School in N.J., Pat married her high school sweetheart, William (Bill) Rowan. This was a love truly made in Heaven and shared for 64 years. They lived and raised their family in Manasquan, NJ before retiring to Destin, Florida. Pat will be remembered by all who frequented their business in the summers at the Corner Store on Manasquan beach. She was best known for her quick wit and ability to make anyone laugh.</p> <p>Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy & Helmut Ruben, and her siblings Barbara Bugg, Buddy Ruben, John Ruben, and Sandy Ruben. She is survived by her husband, Bill Rowan of Destin, FL and daughter, Cecelia Rowan of Hamilton Square, NJ and her life partner, Ron Primka, and son, Billy Rowan of Massachusetts. She leaves behind her brother Chris Ruben and sister Cindy Groff as well as grandchildren Jimmy Kerr and his wife Meredith, Dave Kerr and his wife Kristine, Tom Kerr, and Olivia Rowan; great-grandchildren Kaydence, Declan, Colin, and Cameron Kerr. She also leaves behind many other nieces, nephews, family members, and dear friends who will sadly miss her.</p> <p>Graveside services will be held at St. Catherine’s Cemetery, 1100 W.
