George “Timothy” Vandevoorde, 72, of Elgin, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021. He was born on January 22, 1949, in Elgin the son of George and Marjorie (Lofgren) Vandevoorde. Survivors include his three siblings: Pam (Dave) Rehberg, Steven (Lorie) Vandevoorde and Sally Vandevoorde; along with many nieces, nephews and family. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, October 27, 2021, at the Laird Funeral Home, Elgin. Burial will follow at Bluff City Cemetery, Elgin.
