Carl Wayland Burkhalter, Jr., age 58, of Canton, GA passed away Monday, October 18, 2021 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. He was a wonderful husband, father and Papa. He was an avid outdoorsman. What he loved the most was spending time with his family and friends. He was always involved in any activity his children and grandchildren were in, whether it was being a coach or as a fan. He was a friend to many and if anyone needing anything, they knew they could always count on him.

Funeral services are scheduled for 6:30 PM, on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday, November 17, 2021, and from to , at South Canton Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by, Father: Carl W. Burkhalter, Sr.; Son: Joshua R. Burkhalter

Mother - Katherine O'Toole (Jay)

Son - Eric Burkhalter (Jennie)

Brother - Earl Burkhalter

Brother - Tom Burkhalter (Deana)

Grandchildren - Adley Chamness & Asher Burkhalter
