Martha Leal
Martha Leal, 72 of Dumas, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021. A Prayer Service will be held at 6 o’clock in the evening on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Morrison Memorial Chapel. The Funeral Services are scheduled for 10 o’clock in the morning on Friday, October 22, 2021, at Iglesia Bautista Hispana with Joe Molina and Roberto Reyna officiating. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Martha was born on June 10, 1949, in Fabens, TX to Manuel and Magdalena (Sinecio) Artalejo. She had been a resident of Dumas for over 60 years. Martha married Cassie Leal on August 23, 1969, in Dumas, TX. Martha had numerous interests such as gardening, cooking, birds, and Christian music. She enjoyed her coffee but more importantly she loved the time spent with her grandchildren. Martha was of Pentecostal faith and will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter: Irene Leal; son: Gabriel Leal. Martha is survived by her husband, Cassie Leal of the home; children: Casilio Leal and Megan Rogers of Allen, TX, Juanita Griggs and husband Lonnie of Sherman, TX, Sammy Joe Leal of Sherman, TX; brothers and sisters: Carlos Artalejo and wife Olivia of Odessa, TX, Ofelia Hernandez, and husband Charlie, Arjelia Cruz, Sylvia Montez and husband Phillip, Manuel Artalejo, Jr. all of Dumas, TX, Norena Bustamante and husband Pablo of Ferris, TX, Araceli Vasquez and husband Ramon of Dumas, TX; 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.Obituary
