Geary Leon Hicks, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed from this life on Monday, October 18, 2021 at the age of 80. He was born on Monday, May 5, 1941 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Clarence H. and Mary Jane (Jacobs) Hicks.

He was a longtime resident of Muskogee, Oklahoma formerly of Caddo, Oklahoma. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and traveling all over the country. He was a member of U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence H. and Mary Jane (Jacobs) Hicks; wife Phyllis Hicks; 4 brothers, 1 sister, 1 son, 2 daughters and 1 great-granddaughter.

Survivors include his daughters Victoria Heidelberg of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Linda Hopkins of Durant, Oklahoma, Georgia Hall of Durant, Oklahoma, Jeri Howard of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Angie Covey of Muskogee, Oklahoma; sons Bo Hicks of Sherman, Texas, John Henderson of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Norman Henderson of Muskogee, Oklahoma; sisters Mary Nell Tucker of Durant, Oklahoma, Mara Nell Sheffield of Colbert, Oklahoma; brother Travis Hicks of Durant, Oklahoma; 6 grandsons; 6 granddaughters; 3 great-granddaughters and other extended family.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday October 23, 2021 at the Church of the Nazarene in Caddo, Oklahoma with Bro. John Kinsey officiating.

A graveside service will be held 12:30PM, Monday October 25, 2021 at the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
