Gineal Stott, of Choteau, peacefully passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021, hours from her 82nd birthday surrounded by her loving husband Cloyd, and family by her side. <div> </div><div>She was born October 20, 1939, in Provo, Utah, the daughter of the late Elgin and Lucy Druceal Oliphant. She is survived by her husband and ten children: Kim Heath (Brent L), Daniel Cloyd Stott (Marilee), Dorothy Campbell (Robert Chad), Carol Wearley (Robb Reginald), Sylvia Brown (Christopher Robin), Tonya Hansen (Matthew William), Julie Larsen (Spencer Greaves), Roy Elgin Stott (Cheryl), Druceal Sheldon (Michael Eugene), and Chad Benjamin Stott (Elizabeth Ann); as well as 61 grandchildren, and 47 great grandchildren whom she loved and adored. She is survived by her siblings Roland Elgin Oliphant (Yvonne Joy), Norman Henry Oliphant (Elizabeth Fern), Robert Toone Oliphant (Pandra Melissa), Larona Melville (Duane William), Lucy Bullock (LeGrand M), and Gayle Sutton (Alan Kelsey). She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Nada Davies (Donald Leon) and Virginia Peterson (Daniel Baillie), and brothers T Lawrence Oliphant (Edith) and Clyde Dart Oliphant (Chere). </div><div>She was a friend to all and an inspiration in the way she lived. As a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, she selflessly loved, served, and strengthened all who knew her. As a strong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, her spirituality and faith blessed the lives of many in her local and extended communities. That faith in God’s loving abilities, was well known to even control the weather. Her father gave her a love for working outside and feeling God’s presence in nature, which she did all her life. She inspired us all as she endured to the end, always using her remaining energy to smile and express her love especially to her grandchildren. In a simple summary and using her own words she wanted to be known for her Christ like love for her Family and God. </div><div>Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 2021, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in Choteau, Montana. A viewing will be held at 12:00 p.m. prior to service. </div><div>Gorder-Jensen Funeral Home of Choteau is handling arrangements. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 2021, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in Choteau, Montana. A viewing will be held at 12:00 p.m. prior to service.
