Larry Dale Webster

Larry D. Webster passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from complications of Parkinson's and dementia. Larry was born February 8, 1939 to Harold and Leona Webster at home near Westfall, Kansas. He was an only child and attended a one room school house through second grade. The family moved to Lamar, Colorado, in 1948. He graduated from Lamar High School in 1957 , from Colorado School of Mines in 1961 and received a PhD in Material Sciences from Cornell University. He spent much of his working career as an engineer with Kaman Sciences in Colorado Springs and at Bettis Atomic Labs in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Harriet (Rice) Webster; his beloved son, Wes; and his grandchildren, Brandon, Brooklynn, and Kendall. He leaves many cousins, and lifelong friends. There will be a private family graveside service at a later date.
