Colby Lee Cole, 33, of Michigan City, passed away sudden and unexpectedly at 2:19 p.m., Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in his home. He was born April 25, 1988, in Michigan City, Indiana to Todd Eugene Cole. Colby had many passions and hobbies including paintballing, fishing, hunting, snowboarding and going on camping trips. His life was not easy, but he always found a way to make people smile. Colby was a very caring person and family oriented. He loved his family deeply and will be greatly missed by his family, friends and his dog, Ruger. Surviving are his paternal grandpa, George Cole of La Porte; father, Todd (Cindy) Cole of Michigan City; former wife, Paula Moore-Allen of Westville; four children, Alexandrea Rivera, Tyler Rhodes, Sydney Kosek and Mia Kosek all of Westville; one sister, Summer Cole of Michigan City; two brothers, Andrew Cole of Chicago and Richard Butler of Michigan City; three grandchildren, Kayden, Araya and Audia Rivera; aunts, Amy Cole of Michigan City and Kim Gondek of Indianapolis; several cousins; close cousins; Candace Walsh, Christy Miles, Josh Gondek, Corey Bush and Brandon Walsh; and many aunts and uncles. Preceding in death his paternal grandmother; Donna Cole. A funeral celebrating his life will held at 6 p.m., Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Lakeview Funeral Home & Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte, (219) 362-3100 with Pastor Dennis Pickens officiating. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until time-of-service Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the funeral home.
