      DUE TO COVID REGULATIONS ALL PERSONS ATTENDING THE FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE DOUBLE VACCINATED AND WEAR A MASK

   The death of Eugene Moore occurred at the Villa Renaissance in Dalhousie, October 17, 2021 at the age of 91. Born in Benjamin River, he was the son of the late Cecil and Stella (Gallen) Moore. 

   Eugene studied forestry at Hugh John Fleming College and was a scaler for the NBIP. He was later employed at the Brunswick Smelter until his retirement. He was a Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Jacquet River Legion for 67 years and a lifetime member of Branch 77 Jacquet River Legion.

   Eugene is survived by his wife Hazel; children Gail of Blackland and Glen of Benjamin; sister Wanda Bertin (Alvin) of Benjamin as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, son Claude as well as his brother Gary and sister Patricia. 

   For those wishing to make donations in memory of Eugene, a donation to the NB. Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated by the family. His funeral service will be held at MacMillan Drapeau Chapel in Benjamin on November 10 at 2 pm. Arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.

Attention: The Royal Canadian Legion Durham Branch #77 members are asked to be at the Chapel for 1:45 for a Legion service before the funeral.
