Ms. Susan Laverne Hickox, 69, passed away Tuesday (October 19, 2021) at her residence in Waycross following a short illness. She was born in Waycross to the late Vernon Ira Hickox and Jerrell Bell Hickox. She was employed with Walmart as a department manager for many years and was a member of Crawford Street Baptist Church. She is survived by four siblings, David Wayne Hickox (wife Cynthia) of Waycross, Linda Diane Slocumb (husband James) of Bainbridge, GA, Wendy Hickox Brown (husband Leslie) of Patterson, James “Jack” Hickox of Waycross; and numerous nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
