John Chase Renfro

John Chase Renfro, 32, fiancé of Carrie Hambel, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021. He was born in Lexington, KY on November 10, 1988 to Janet Berry (Clarence Barton) Switzer, Jr and Scottie (Linda) Renfro. Chase attended Dunbar High School and worked as a route driver for Clark Distributing. He was a current member of Perryville Church of God and had his baptism at Central Christian Church. In addition to his fiancé and parents, Chase is survived by his daughter, Riley Lynn Renfro; son, John Graham Clarke Renfro; sister, Alicia Faith Renfro; and brother, Mark Spencer (Susan) Renfro. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mattie Lee Berry and Dr. John F. Berry, Jr. And his paternal grandparents, Joan Wells Renfro, and Norman Renfro. Chase had many hobbies. He loved weightlifting, cooking, golf, UK football, dogs, fishing and hunting, and had an overwhelming love for his family. Visitation will be Friday, October 22, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing from 4-6PM. Service will follow at 6PM. Pastor Jonathan Walker, and David Shirey will be conducting the service. Private burial will be at a later date.
